CUSTOM VARIATIONS READILY AVAILABLE

The captive Hardware types shown in this bulletin are an indication of some
of the many variations available from PIC'S.

The great majority of the Captive Nuts and Captive Studs illustrated
in this brochure are stocked at PIC'S.

Our Engineering Sales Department will be glad to discuss other variations
with you and provide expeditious handling of your order.

PIC'S Captive Studs are made from Type 303 Stainless Steel

They provide an extremely wear-resistant machine threaded stud to be permanently
installed in aluminum or brass panels, chassis or sub-assemblies.

The hexagonal head offers tremendous rotational resistance and always fits flush
with the parent material.

Captive Studs are available in the thread sizes and lengths indicated in the chart below.

OFFER GREATER RELIABILITY!

This chart shows the result of tests conducted to determine the forces required
to insert PIC'S captive Hardware in the most often used grades of aluminum sheet metal.

Additional tests showed the pull-out, push-out and torque-out forces that various types
and sizes could withstand.

Standard stock types of Captive Hardware were used throughout the test. The result?
Positive proof that PIC'S captive Hardware provides you with superior reliability
— reliability you expect from all PIC'S products.
